HCPC is governed by our Full Commission and an Executive Board selected from the Full Commission.
Full Commission
- The Full Commission is composed of representatives from each member municipality.
- Each member municipality appoints 2 representatives and an alternate.
- Each representative must be a municipal official or a designee elected by a majority vote of the municipal officers.
- Two County representatives are appointed by the Hancock County Commissioners.
- Representatives serve 2-year terms.
- The Full Commission meets annually to review and approve the upcoming fiscal year work plan and budget.
Executive Board
The Executive Board is selected by the Full Commission during the HCPC Annual Meeting. The Executive Board Consists of 11 persons, 3 from each district and 2 of which are County representatives. Board members serve 3-year terms.
The role of the Executive Board is to supervise the affairs of the Commission and the Executive Director, make recommendations to the Commission, and perform other duties as necessary.
The Executive Board meets quarterly on the third Tuesday of the month at 3 pm via Zoom. Meetings are open to the public. Please email Averi Varney (avarney@hcpcme.org) if you are interested in attending.
